In 2002, while making Al’Natural Body Mosturiser, a wrong oil container was picked up in production, and the macadamia face cream was the result.
Macadamia oil is one of the lightest, which makes it such a good cosmetic oil. Being high in monounsaturated fatty acids and palmoletic acids , macadamia oil has successfully replaced whale oil in the production of cosmetics, which had been used for centuries.
